This weekend everyone worked together to make a home for a deserving family in Honduras a reality. Church staff provided a lobby booth, bulletin exposure, and an announcement from the stage. My fellow missionaries provided engaging discussions about their previous mission trips. Many in the congregation gave a little of their own resources to make the purchase of materials possible. Since 1/3 of the donations were in cash, this may be all the thanks you ever get, but it is sincere. God bless!

My muscles hurt. Yesterday I pushed them farther than I have in a long time. This morning I am sore and have a little regret. Unfortunately, Absorbine Junior isn't going to help this time. I have been told that it appears I effortlessly wander through life taking ground for the Kingdom. The reality is that I tend to obsess and over analyze anything I do long before I ever actually have to do it. Yesterday was the exception. Utter the word stewardship and the church usually starts thinking about money. While it is important to be faithful with what the Lord provides us (sow sparingly = reap sparingly), this is an area relatively easy for me. Automated banking means I don't even have to think about it all that often. Stewardship isn't about money, it's about resources - all resources including gifts, time, etc. My weakness is with time. I can't program myself to automatically spend so many hours in the Word, with
