Interesting blog. I just read a review of "A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier" but I don't think I can bring myself to read it. Like you, I am so thankful to live in America and I never take it for granted. I pray for such children and for countries where such things can happen.
I love your picture above with your baby. It's a classic mother and child photo. Lovely! Not to mention the adorable baby pictures. My "baby" is now 35 with 4 darling kids of his own.
Reporting - how interesting. I pursued a degree / career in interior design, but after editing, my next choice would have been reporting.

I need your help!

There is no place in West Virginia that does more for children than West Virginia University Children's Hospital. The hospital never turns a child away, despite their ability to pay. At work, we have an annual radiothon for the Children's Hospital.

I'm helping out in the fundraising. In honor of Will, I've become a WVAQ for Kids Cash Bandit and have a goal of raising at least $500.
