Hey Taylor! Congrats on the baby on the way! Do you know if you're having a boy or girl?

About Me:
So, here's my brief history. I was born in Texas, moved a few times here and there got out of school and ended up in Morgantown. I met a really awesome girl, Kasandra, by working at Target, then we got married. Now, we have our first child on the way, very exciting!
My Christian background:
I have no date marked for when I was saved. To me, I've always known Jesus even at preschool age, thanks to my mother. But just learning new things through my years, I could have been saved at many different times. Only He knows, and I thank Him for all He's done for me.
Most of my years in church was spent at a methodist church. I liked it there, but I was young and found it hard to understand and stay motivated. And changes in our lives just slowly stopped us from going. I got out of high school, had my own job, place to live, so it was party time. Yeah, sure. That eventually got boring after a year or two and did nothing but cause trouble.
So eventually after I moved and transferred to Morgantown, I met Kasandra and she has turned my life around in the right direction. She grew up in a family that went to church 3 or 4 times a week, she was strong. Somehow, I sat there one day looking through the phone book to find a church to go to the next Sunday. My mom had mentioned Chestnut Ridge Church, she knew people who had attended there and loved it. And I had just learned that the huge building going up 2 miles down my road is their new building. How convenient.
So I checked it out on Point Marion Road, yep I liked it, Kasandra liked it. And I figured, hey it's a big church, not everyone will know if I miss a day or two. I'll just slip in worship and learn, then slip out. Well, apparently, God had different plans for me. He guided me to the volunteer meeting, He led me to help with multimedia in the new building, he led me to worship and worship practice. And I would work most of the day on Saturdays and half of my Sundays. I have spent quite a few weekends volunteering at Chestnut Ridge Church. And I have loved every second of it. And I have a feeling this is only the beginning, with lots more to come, thanks to the Lord, my Savior.
How long have you been at the RIDGE? or another church? or what is your level of spiritual interest?
Chestnut Ridge Church since August 07
Favorite Music:
At the moment, Jeremy Camp. His concert at CRC blew me away. If you went there and liked it, check out Jeremy Camp - Unplugged album, it sounds pretty close to how it was that night.
