Thanks for the plays on the site m8y. Glad you enjoyed'm! I'm giving the site a face lift here within the next month or so and will have about 10 more trax posted. Six of them are mastered right now, and the other 4 are in the late stages of production. I've got the layout of the site complete, but I haven't had time to add all of the content that I've wanted to. Not enough time in the day man...

I see what you're saying with the Reason thing. I've talked to Karen and she's wanting to use 1 loop a week in the service. I think that is definitely possible, but I agree with you that it will have to fit the theme of the music. I've emailed Rich about getting together sometime to look at the logistics of the situation and do some brainstorming. I have some ideas that I'd like to show you guys as well. We'll see where it goes!!!

Hey, I just logged on to say hi after last weekend since I didn't get much of a chance to talk to you then. I just saw your post below. That would be cool. I agree that you almost need someone like that working the tracks full time to pull it off well. The problem is that, like last weekend, often the stuff we play isn't real heavy in the synth track area. So, you or anyone else doing that job would probably be pretty bored through most of the practice and worship. Still, I'm sure there's something you could add in times like that. :) I've listened to about half of the tracks on your site and they are great!

Hmm...have you guys ever considered having one member of the band being a trigger man for the loop software? That's what today's modern DJ's do all the time. It'd just be a guy infront of the computer who could take cues from the keyboardist or whoever is leading the band. Wouldn't even have to be on stage really. It'd give you guys much greater options as far as percussion goes for sure, but you could really put anything in there...back up vox/harmonies, bass (sorry!), synths, sound fx, etc. You could even modulate the samples in real time inside the software with fx and such. Would give the band a larger sound. What do you think?

We aren't using Reason this weekend as far as I know. We have used it occasionally in the past and our goal is to use it more regularly in the future. However, we have a lot of work to do across three bands (especially since we just reorganized) to get all of our musicians used to playing regularly with a click track. Each week we get a little closer to our goal as an entire worship team.

Wow! I just saw your post on my page! Tell Megan I said hi! I saw in Karen's email that she invited you to rehearsal this Saturday. My band is up this week and I hope to see you there.

Hey, I think I remember you from high school. I didn't even know you were into music. :) It's great to see we're at the same church now and I can't wait to work with you on some music!
