Profile Information

Hometown:
Bruceton Mills, West Virginia
About Me:
Hi, I'm Taylor!
I was born in Kingwood, West Virginia, 14 years ago on December 26.

I have two younger brothers named Dalton and Dane, 12 and 8. Dalton has an amazing mind, and can figure out pretty much any puzzle anybody puts in front of him. It's really cool. Dane is an AWESOME football player for the Bruceton White Knights youth league, and I'm not joking--he is AWESOME!!!

My parent's names are Stephen and Donna. My dad is an AWESOME chiropractor in Kingwood, and my mom is a stay-at-home mom and homeschools all three of us, which totally rocks! I am a freshman in high school. In eighth grade, I had sraight As, and was one of the West Virginia Golden Horseshoe State History Test winners, with God's help.

I am a competitive gymnast in Morgantown, West Virginia, and I have been doing gymnastics for more than nine years (I started when I was only five!!!). I am training to be a level 9 gymnast this year for competitions, which are December through May. I have competed in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, and of course, West Virginia. With God's help, I have been All-Around State Champion in West Virginia for four consecutive years, and have went to Regionals both times that I was eligible to go. Regionals is a competition with the best gymnasts from six different states. In 2008, I became the Level 8 Region 7 Uneven Bars Champion, and placed 4th in the all-around in the region as well. I also placed top ten on two other events. I have also done all this through the Lord, and I must give Him all the praise, honor, and glory.

I have some awesome friends, and a great God. I hope you know Him, because He can change your life, and you will never be the same. He is awesome!
How long have you been at the RIDGE? or another church? or what is your level of spiritual interest?
I've been going to CRC for about five years. Going to this church has totally changed my life. I made Jesus the Lord of my life in 2003 through the AWANA program. Without Him, I would be a completely different person.

Favorite Music:
My favorite band is David Crowder, and I pretty much love all of their music. I also like Casting Crowns, Third Day, Audio Adrenaline, Barlow Girl, Mercy Me, Big Daddy Weave, Matthew West, Nichole Nordeman, Stephen Curtis Chapman (pray for him), and Chris Tomlin. Toby Mac too. My favorite song is All I Need by Bethany Dillon. I also have a ton of favorite songs by a variety of different artists.
Favorite TV Shows:
I really don't watch a ton of TV, but I do like Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, American Gladiators, gymnastics, when it's actually on, and Spongebob. : )
To which small group do you belong?
I just started Wired!
Habakkuk 3:18-19~Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.

Psalm 121:1-2~I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Isaiah 40:28-31~Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God; the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men will stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

2 Corinthians 12:9~But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

"Pray like everything depends on God; work like everything depends on you."

Hey Taylor, You are very welcome. You should thank Hannah and Paige also I think they had a big hand in designing the card. I just kinda handed it over to the 7 and 8 grade girls small group to do. How are you feeling?

We're not going to the theme park but we're still going to Eli's!:)
It's a seven hour drive though. One time when we went on a long trip where we'd be spending a lot of time in the car driving, Hannah kept telling herself she'd be carsick, so she ended up being car sick before she even got in the car. It was kind of funny.
