Our family adopted two 8 week old kittens this weekend. We already had four adults ones ages 16, 13, 14 and 4. Adding new ones was not in the plan until some of them had died. Boy was it an interesting weekend. Our family had plans to go to Kalahari, a water park in Sandusky, OH. We had been to Splash Lagoon in Erie, PA and just wanted to try another one that friends had recommended. We wre to arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday.

The trip did not get off to a good start, as Taryn came home from school with a fever of 101.4. Not knowing what was going on, we decided to wait until the next morning to see how she was going to be. Interestingly, before bedtime

I am so surprised that I haven't seen a lot of posts on what has happened at VT. My heart goes out to the families of the victims, as well as the injured and students and staff in general. I can't imagine having my child away from me to start with and then to imagine something like this happening and not being there.

I got a request from three different people to join this network! Looking around has been cool, but I wasn't sure I wanted to join in. Then, I saw that my friend, Diane Tarantini, had changed her picture for the THIRD time in as many days and I had to sign up to post to her.

So, I have filled out my profile, etc and will see where this goes. I did actually have a question come to mind for Trey this morning during the service, so will try to post that to him.
